Book covers for the Calvin and
Hobbes Lazy Sunday Book. But it never went on the books at all. It
would have covered four books but it is all in one great and glorious,
beautiful Calvin and Hobbes poster. This sheet was never cut. It was
found on a pallate of medical books. Between each tier of boxes of
books there is often a sheet of cardboard or other thick paper to help
hold the pallates together better. This is what they used.

This item is an extremely rare
find for Calvin & Hobbes fans. It is a collection of items used
in the printing of the book "Scientific Method Goes "Boink"" 1991.
Besides a copy of the completed original book, there is a
printed proof of the entire book (in blue ink), with various
handwritten marks showing printing errors prior to final print, and six
unused plates back-up plates that would have been used the actual
printing of the publication, as well as a protective case. Usually,
these items are destroyed after a book is printed, so finding them is
rare.
